The Tiger
Band program had two bands competing yesterday at the Region 27 UIL 2A – 4A
Bands Concert and Sight-reading competition at Brenham High School.
Our
Symphonic band, the non-varsity band, received a rating of Excellent (2,1,2) on
their stage performance and a rating of Superior (1,1,1) in the sight-reading
competition. We are so very proud of their hard work! They had the best ratings
of all of the 4A Non-Varsity bands!
Our Wind
Ensemble, the varsity band, received a rating of Superior (1,1,1) on their
stage performance and a rating of Superior (1,1,2) in the sight-reading completion. This achievement is
considered a Concert SWEEPSTAKES! Our Tiger Band Wind Ensemble was one of only
three bands out of sixteen competing yesterday to achieve this great honor!
