CONGRATULATIONS CHOIR!!
This past weekend, we had 14 singers who
advanced from district auditions participated in the Region 27 Region
Choir Audition. All of our singers worked very hard and made SWHS Proud! Congratulations
to the following singers who made the prestigious All-Region Choir!
Tissani Robinson, Arlysse Ibarra, Jamie O'quinn, Stormy Torres, Iris Rodroguez, Steven Garcia, and Jose Bonilla. Eddie Victoria and Jasmin McClinton have been selected for the Honor Choir and SIX more (9th graders) will be selected this week.
Jose Bonilla, Arly Reyna Ibarra, and Tissany Robinson will be advancing to Pre-Area, the penultimate audition to the Texas All-State Choir!! Way to go Tiger Choir!

Chris Rice earns the National Speech & Debate Association All American!!!

Spring Woods High School congratulates Chris Rice and Mrs. Beard for their outstanding work!
Spring Woods High School's speech and debate program has also earned a recognition by the National Speech & Debate Association. Spring Woods has earned points and degrees in the honor society of the National Speech & Debate Association based on competitive and service-related activities and is ranked among the top 5% of schools nationwide and has earned membership in the Association's prestigious 200 Club. "This milestone is remarkable", says Wunn "because it demonstrates outstanding commitment to teaching students essential life skills - including communication, research, listening, writing and organization".
